Forest Raised Heritage Pork
Legendary Flavor, Limited Harvests: Heritage Breed Pork Shares
Heritage Pork from Three Fires Farms
At Three Fires Farms, we raise heritage breed pigs, including Berkshire and Duroc — known for producing some of the finest pork in the world.
Often called the “black pig” and prized in Japan as Kurobuta pork, Berkshire pork is to pork what Wagyu is to beef: richly marbled, exceptionally tender, and full of deep, juicy flavor. With a 300-year heritage tracing back to England, these breeds are renowned for their fine-grained texture and superior eating quality — making them ideal for everything from barbecued chops to savory, slow-roasted hams.
How We Raise Our Hogs
Our pigs are sustainably raised on natural pasture beneath pecan groves and hardwood forests, where they roam freely and forage as nature intended.
Pasture & Forest-Raised, Always: Our hogs enjoy a natural diet, fresh air, and a stress-free environment year-round.
No Hormones or Routine Antibiotics: We believe in raising animals with integrity — clean, healthy, and with respect for their natural instincts.
Stewardship for the Future: By maintaining sustainable farming practices, we protect the land, support animal welfare, and deliver better food to your table.
